Star Kissed New From Lady Bug Designs

Lady Bug Designs has just released a sweet new kit called Star Kissed.  Lots of lovely soft colors here, just perfect for spring and on into summer.  You can get it here at the Digital Design Den store.

Ive done two layouts with this kit so far - two more are in the works.  The first one is our grandson who is currently in China as an exchange student.  I downloaded the photo of him from Facebook.  He was just getting ready to go on a boat trip somewhere in China.

Sound Of Football Podcast 227 Strike it rich

The headlines for the close of the transfer deadline are all about the deals that have collapsed rather than the ones that have gone through. Both de Gea and Berahino looked like done deals back in May but thankfully for content hungry outlets such as ourselves, football is never that straightforward.

SP 100 ton Bethlehem Hopper Repaints Released

The SP 100 ton Bethlehem Hopper repaints are available for download in the RWA library. These repaints require the RWA Donationware freight package.

I started this repaint back in April and you can already guess that I wasnt happy with the quality. Since then I have added a High Pass Filter layer, created dirty numbers for two of the three models, adjusted the lettering due to stretching, and used an 80% gray alpha channel.

Is it perfect? no. I still see areas where I could improve the lettering, and where some of my hand made decals are a bit fuzzy because I sized them larger. So why release? Simply because I need to draw the line somewhere, and I am now comfortable with the end result.


There are still a few more RWA SP and SSW repaints left in the queue so I will continue to be busy for the next couple months (at the rate I am moving at).
