2009 Alfa Romeo 159 1750 TBi

ALFA ROMEO 159 1750 TBi

Starting from April 2009, the new Alfa Romeo 159 1750 TBi will be available with a brand new 1750 cc turbocharged petrol engine and develops 200 HP between 4,750 and 5,500 rpm with 320 Nm of torque at only 1,400 rpm. This engine takes the Alfa Romeo 159 1750 TBi to an impressive top speed of 235 kph and accelerates it from 0 to 100 kph in just 7.7 seconds. The 200 HP Alfa Romeo 159 1750 TBi is therefore a true representative of Alfa’s exclusive motoring lifestyle. Far from being a mere ‘means of transport’, the new Alfa Romeo 159 1750 TBi is a real driver’s car.

The 159 1750 TBi boasts very honorable performance: 0 to 100 km / h in 7.7 seconds, standing start kilometer in 28.9 seconds and a V-Max announced to 235 km / h. However, as for the Delta, these eloquent figures do not reflect fully the reality of the road: if the throttle response is immediate, the 4-cylinder 200 hp broadcasts its way too progressive for us to really talk about sportsmanship .

2009 Marangoni Alfa Romeo Mito M430

MARANGONI ALFA ROMEO MITO M430

M 430 ... This figure vaguely remember something like air intakes drop ... Marangoni Italian tire manufacturer, had a clear idea in mind with this first prepared on the basis of the new Alfa Romeo MiTo . The car, produced by the TRC tuner in Florence, will be exhibited at the Salon dEssen before the turn of events of tuning Europe. The purpose of this car is to use the new display high pneumatic performance Mythos, which has the interesting distinction of being red, a trend that will inevitably one day or another in the streets now that the technology of pigmentation is developed.

The interior is retapisse and shift knob speed, hand brake handle and pedals receive Swarovski crystals, and the whole is a significant example of the Italian tuning.

But beyond the tires, the car is modified in depth. For the body kit and scissor doors the images speak for themselves, and in the two-tone dress hiding suspensions KW adjustable plate, lowered 40mm compared to the production car and Tarox brakes to 10 (! ) pistons associated with composite discs of 330 mm diameter. The turbocharger has a new turbine Mariani with the new exhaust allow the 1.4-liter turbo developing 220 hp.

And now the body, radical and extreme as a few other cars in the same segment: about the aesthetic package, which lowers the car by more than 4 cm, the various air vents with cuts and nicks, extractor, the opening system the doors. Of each of its elements, in practice, as well as accessories - red gums by eighteen inches, Swarovski stones inside - do not help to make it more simple.

2011 Alfa Romeo 4C Concept

ALFA ROMEO 4C CONCEPT

Planned to go on sale during 2013, the Alfa Romeo 4C Concept exhibited in Frankfurt Motor Show is distinguished by a new and exclusive ‘Fluid Metal’ exterior colour. The concept presents the formula of the two-seater, rear-wheel drive coupe with its central engine, a length of approximately 4 meters and a wheelbase of less than 2.4 meters.

The Alfa Romeo 4C Concept uses technology and materials derived from the 8C Competizione – carbon, aluminium, rear-wheel drive – and technology from Alfa Romeo models currently on sale: the 1750 turbo petrol engine with direct injection, the ‘Alfa TCT’ twin dry clutch transmission and the Alfa D.N.A. selector for dynamic control of the car, in short all the best of the Alfa Romeo DNA Technology.

Located centrally in the rear of the vehicle, the engine in the Alfa Romeo 4C Concept ensures performance which matches or exceeds that of a 3 litre engine whilst still delivering the moderate fuel consumption which is typical of a compact, 4 cylinder engine. Coupled with the new automatic ‘Alfa TCT’ twin dry clutch transmission, now available on the MiTo and Giulietta, the powerful 1750 Turbo petrol engine allows the 4C Concept to reach a top speed of over 250 km/h and to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in under 5 seconds.
